PulseTrader ("we", "our", or "us") operates the PulseTrader Chrome extension and the website at getpulsetrader.co. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name from Google. We use this to create and manage your account.
Usage data: We store your watchlist tickers, theme preferences, panel size preferences, and trade journal entries locally on your device using browser storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly sync it.
Trial and subscription status: We store whether your free trial is active and your subscription status on our servers to manage access to paid features.
We use your email address to manage your account, send you important updates about the service, and process your subscription. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not collect browsing history, track which websites you visit, or monitor your trading activity beyond what you explicitly log in the trade journal.
Google: We use Google Sign-In for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed through their services.
Stripe: We use Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. We never store credit card information on our servers.
Anthropic: News headlines are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI analysis. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.
Railway: Our backend server is hosted on Railway. News signals and account status are processed on Railway's infrastructure.
Your preferences and journal entries are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers. Account and subscription data is stored securely on our backend server. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@getpulsetrader.co.
PulseTrader is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the extension.
